Located on Audubon Parkway in Chanhassen, Minnesota stands a building of epic proportions. This building, built in 1986 and opened in 1987 by Prince himself, is Paisley Park Studios and consists of 4 recording studios, an audio/video edit suite and a complete sound stage, valued at $10 million in the year it was built. Various artists have recorded at Paisley Park Studios, most notably in the summer of 1989. That year, four or the top ten charted albums boasted production at Paisley Park. They included The Raw and the Cooked (Fine Young Cannibals), Like A Prayer (Madonna), Forever Your Girl (Paula Abdul) and the Batman Soundtrack album (Keene and Price).
Presently, according to www.paisleyparkstudios.com, Paisley Park Studios is available for private bookings.
