Prince at Superbowl XLI

Prince Rogers Nelson, Joey Coco, Alexander Nevermind, The Prince of Purple, Christopher, The Artist. These names all refer to the legendary Prince, an integral member of the music scene since the late 1970s. While many of us recall lyrics to songs such as 1999, Purple Rain and Kiss, few have taken the time to consider the musical genius that is Prince and the effects this genius has had on the music and entertainment industry for the past 30 years. With a history of both personal and professional relationships with numerous super stars including Madonna, Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam, Kim Basinger, Carmen Electra and Chaka Khan in addition to numerous award winning albums and movies under his belt, it's easy to see how Prince has established himself as a driving force in the industry for many years and will likely continue to do so for years to come.
